Installation Process
Before installing, please review the requirements and ensure you have Actian Zen/Pervasive PSQL installed.
- Make sure the Zen service is running. You can use the
Zen Control Centerto check that it is running properly. If you can reach the built-in databases in theZen Control Center, the service is running. - Download the Evo-ERP installer from our website. If you already have an Evo-ERP license, note your customer code that is listed on the website home page after logging in.
- Run the installer on your server. Choose a directory to install Evo-ERP. To ensure proper file permissions from workstations to reach the Evo-ERP programs, do not install it to
Program FilesorProgram Files (x86). Make sure the directory where you install Evo-ERP is reachable from each workstation via a UNC path or mapped drive. We do not recommend installing it to the root of a drive, e.g.,F:\. Instead, install it to a directory on that drive, e.g.,F:\EVOERP. - To run Evo-ERP on the server you will need to follow the steps in workstation setup to configure the server as a workstation.
- If you plan to have users access the server via remote desktop and run Evo-ERP directly, you may want to contact support to ensure you configure everything properly.
- See installing Evo-ERP license for information on installing either a full or trial license for Evo-ERP.
- See workstation setup for information on setting up workstations to run Evo-ERP.
